Rasalgethi

Rasalgethi is a triple star system and is also a red giant, it is 382 light years from earth. It is located in the constellation Hercules and makes up Hercs forehead. It has a luminosity 17,000 times that of the sun. The star at birth was 7-8 times the mass of our sun but it is shrinking which indicates it is dying, it is believed that it will become white dwarf.
